This complete sewing kit makes 2 stunning and functional bags using quilting cotton fabrics (exterior and lining) with woven ribbons as embellishment. This kit has an extra-easy zipper/ribbon installation and a beautifully finished interior with no unfinished seams or bindings!

RIBBONS
All ribbons are woven of polyester thread and are pre-shrunk. We recommend ironing them with a lower temperature than you would for cotton or linen, and also iron from the wrong side of the fabric, using a pressing cloth to protect from heat. Basting tape is an excellent replacement for pins that may damage the ribbon when applying to fabric.
ZIPPERS
Zippers should only be ironed with a pressing cloth covering the plastic teeth.
