Instructions were very well written. Ribbon was excellent quality. Loved the finishe product.
The directions insert update had different dimensions listed than the pattern instructions- I found this super confusing. I made the byannie clam up bag just previous to this one- an element to this pattern I liked that the renribbon lacked, was stitching a line in the soft and stable so it sits nicely when completed. The boxed bottom without the lines along the bottom edge make the bag wobble and fall over. I was also disappointed with how the fussy-cutting of the Tula fabrics was a bit off -Instructions said to cut 1.5” above the main print image but afterwards I wished it said to cut 2-2.5 inches above the sewing machine design so that the full image was centered on at least on one side of the bag. I also found the ribbons difficult to sew- adding sew tape made my ribbons Shrink up about half an inch😖and then they weren’t long enough for the length of the project and I had to cut down the width to even everything up. Overall just a bit frustrating and not totally happy with my final result.
I ordered two kits so I should have received two patterns. Both patterns were missing from the kits. I called to let them know about the missing patterns and to please send two, but they only sent one pattern. I feel that since I paid for two I should get two even though it was the same pattern. This has left me unsure that I should order in the future. How hard is it to read the order? Why couldn’t I receive what I asked for when I called about the issue?
