ByAnnie’s Renaissance Ribbons Bag pattern calls for a 5” Velvet Border to be used as the main exterior fabric. In this kit, we are replacing the Velvet Border with cotton fabric that will be quilted on top of the stabilizer before the bag is assembled.

It gets you through the whole project made with a wide Velvet Border, but it shows very well how to attach the zipper to the Soft and Stable and how to attach the ribbons.
In the addendum, we show you how to replace the Velvet Border with a quilted fabric panel.
